Welcome to Stogumber Cricket Club, which sits in one of the best locations in West Somerset, nestling between the Quantock Hills and Exmoor.

Established almost 150 years ago, the club offers a warm welcome to players of all ages, gender and ability. We give people the opportunity to play cricket at all levels; with a 1st XI team in the West Somerset League and a variety of friendly fixtures played midweek in the evenings between local and touring teams for regular and annual fixtures. We also offer an excellent youth training programme (Mini Gumbers) which runs every Friday evening from April until September, and youth matches throughout the season.

Our friendly clubhouse is a wonderful place to relax, with a shaded terrace to take in the views and a bar offering a range of drinks and snacks. Our facilities are modern and accessible, and include team and individual changing rooms and baby-changing equipment. As well as cricket fixtures, our committee runs a number of events throughout the year, including quizzes, meals, BBQs and festive gatherings.

Stogumber Cricket Club is affiliated with the West Somerset Cricket League and the Somerset Cricket Foundation. Our sponsor for 2024 is Harris Residential.
