Stogumber Cricket Club to host volunteer day

Stogumber will be taking part in the ECB's Get Set Weekend 2024, and is welcoming volunteers from the village and local area to help the club get ready for the new season.

"We are really excited about our Get Set Day which is being held on Sunday 24 March from 10am. We hope that lots of people will come along to the clubhouse and help us with the many jobs we have to do to prepare for the cricket season," said Jade Blake, club secretary. "You don't have to play cricket to join in - there are many ways in which you can get involved with the cricket club and enjoy what an important part it plays in the local community."
